30 Sept: Well it's been a while since we posted on here. Had a very busy time of it recently - we did a hot spot at Saltburn Folk Club a couple of weeks ago and have been invited to play at one of the Golf Club concerts next year - details on our Gigs page. We played in my old home town at the Raising the Rafters in Wath-upon-Dearne in August and we will be back there in June next year. We'll be in Loftus in a couple of weeks at the Station and at the Booit Straps. We are providing the music for an evening at the Red Shed with Ian Clayton in November and have been asked to play at a 70th birthday party which is very nice. So much for reining in the gigging although we have had to turn some offers down which is a shame.

2nd June: Had a great few gigs over the last couple of weeks including fund raisers for the Labour Party. We're playing at the Big Red Picnic in Newchurch in Pendle tomorrow alongside the Red Shed Players. Off for a lovely 2 weeks in the sun soon. We've also traded in our beloved Marshall acoustic guitar amps for Roland AC40s - very good they are too.

7th May: We seem to be rather popular at the moment. We were asked to do a support for Reg Meuross at the Venue Folk Club a couple of weeks ago and we are guests there on 20th May. We have also been asked to play at a series of Socialist events in Wakefield and Nelson (Lancs)to raise funds for the Labour Party, all details are on our gigs page. We have also been asked to be involved in a very interesting project at Otley Folk Festival this year - more information to follow.

22nd March: Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at Morley Folk Club last night, we had a great time and are very much looking forward to 4th April when the guest there will be the fabulous Gloria Jeffries. We are also thrilled to have been asked to do a hotspot at Saltburn Folk club in September.

17th March: Looking forward to a break very soon, a road trip round Scotland catching up with some old mates. Hope the weather holds.

13th March: If you had your eye on Dave Everett's Lowden which was for sale via our website then I'm afraid you are unlucky. He has had the good sense to keep hold of it.

22nd February: First post this year! Had a busy start to the year and unfortunatley on Saturday we had to turn down our 3rd gig in 2 weeks because of prior engagements etc. Next appearance will be at the Wisewood Folk Club in Sheffield on 15th March, 10th March raising money for the Kinsley 3 with the Hunch and then 21st March at Morley Folk Club. We've also purchased some new instruments: Tony has a beautiful Santa Cruz, I've bought another Lowden and we both have a Richwood parlour guitar each. See our instruments page.

3rd November: Can't believe it's nearly 6 months since we posted anything. We've in the middle of a busy period which has been very enjoyable and have been offered Morley Folk Club in March and the Venue (formerly Wortley) Folk Club in June/July next year. We're on at the Denby Dale Pie Hall with Edwina Hayes and the Hall Brothers tonight which should be fun.

16th June: Its been ages since we posted anything. Had a great night last night at Otley Folk Club, managed to be one of the 3 floor spots for Bob Fox, he was as good as ever. Been learning a lot of new stuff, very excited to be rolling them out over the next few weeks and months. Looking forward to a well earned break soon, getting away from it all, 2 weeks of absolute peace and quiet.

29th March: Been offered a few gigs recently, Firbeck Village Hall in October, The Lamp Room in Barnsley in July and Otley Folk Festival in September.

11th March: Had a very busy time recently, playing mid week gigs at Moorcock Acoustic in Blacko and Otley Folk Club - sold a few albums and met a lot of lovely people. We've been invited to play at the 25th Otley Folk Festival in September which is an honour, thanks to Steve Fairholme for asking. Got YPaC #8 on 23rd March at the Black Bull in Birstall, please join us and help us raise funds for Alzheimers.

17th January: Lowlands of Holland is no. 1 in the National N1M acoustic music charts and No. 3 in the Global N1M acoustic charts and No. 8 in the Global chart for all genres of music. We're having a track played on Sine FM radio show today and recently have been offered 4 other gigs. Shadowstone is selling well, so on balance we're all very happy!

3rd December: Raglan Road is number 3 in the National N1M folk charts! Tagged as a "hot shot debut" which means that it has shot right to the top, bypassing all others. Happy, Happy!!

Then 2 days ago we held YPaC6 at Wrenthorpe WMC and raised £149.75 for Alzheimers. Thanks to everyone involved.
